Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo will star in the upcoming South Korean neo-noir crime thriller “Project Y,” which is not a K-drama but a movie. Lee Hwan’s film follows two pals who intend to steal 8 billion won in gold bars from Gangnam, Seoul.

The first posters and trailer for the forthcoming film “Project Y” have been revealed! “Project Y” is a crime thriller set in Seoul’s fashionable Gangnam area. It follows Mi Seon (Han So Hee) and Do Kyung (Jeon Jong Seo), two close friends who have nothing except each other. Desperate to escape their hard existence, they plan to take 8 billion won (roughly $5.79 million) in gold bars and go without a trace.
The freshly published poster captures viewers’ attention with a dramatic image of Mi Seon and Do Kyung walking across the metropolis at night. Do Kyung conceals her expression behind a low-slung hat, while Mi Seon maintains a close check on their surroundings. Their vivid, edgy dress contrasts with the gloomy setting, emphasizing the film’s unique, fashionable tone.

Han So-hee is a South Korean actress and model best recognized for her eye-catching looks and diverse performances. She rose to prominence after starring in dramas such as The World of the Married (2020), Nevertheless (2021), My Name (2021), and Gyeongseong Creature (2023-24). She is praised for her ability to portray both delicate love parts and strong action characters, making her one of Korea’s most popular young stars. In My Name K-drama, we saw her play a very massive role.

Jeon Jong-seo is a South Korean actress renowned for her daring and unique acting choices. She had a strong breakthrough in the critically praised picture Burning (2018), which garnered international attention. Since then, she has been in The Call (2020), Netflix’s Money Heist: Korea (2022), and Ballerina (2023). She is acclaimed for her strong screen presence and ability to play nuanced, edgy characters. In her K-dramas Ballerina and Money Heist, she played very dangerous and eye-catching roles.
